David John Kotash

David John Kotash "Vivid", 46, died tragically on Tuesday, October 21, 2008.

He was born in Bethlehem the son of Elizabeth DeBellis Kotash of Bethlehem and the late Walter E. Kotash.

Vivid is survived by his loving wife Tara Lynne Ripper-Kotash; his daughter, Julia Lynne; mother, Elizabeth Kotash, and his brothers, Ronald Kotash, Jeffrey Kotash and Walter Kotash all of Bethlehem.

He was a graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School in 1980.

Vivid was a laborer for James D. Morrissey and a member of the Laborers' Local Union No. 158.

Vivid lived his life to the fullest and loved to spend time with his wife, daughter, family and friends. He also attended many sporting events with his brothers and friends.

He was a social member of the Heights Athletic Association, National Sokols, B.V.F. Home Association and The Moose. Vivid was Captain of the Southside Stars street hockey champion 88-89 team. He was also an avid New York Yankees and St. Louis Rams fan.

He will be missed by his many friends and family members.

Vivid's family will receive friends on Friday, October 24, 2008 from 6-9 PM at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem and again on Saturday October 25, 2008 from 9-10AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday October 25, 2008 at 11 AM at Incarnation of Our Lord Parish formerly Ss. Cyril and Methodius 617 Pierce St. Bethlehem PA 18015.
