Donna L. Schultz

Donna Lee Schultz, 68, of Allentown passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2023. Born on May 9, 1955, she was the daughter of Jeanne (Heimbecker) Huhn and the late Harry Huhn, Jr. She was the loving wife of the late Barry J. Schultz, Sr. They were married for 38 years prior to his passing in 2018.

Donna's kindness and compassion for others made her light shine brightly to all lucky enough to know her. She loved fiercely as a daughter, sister, wife, mom, nana, and friend. Donna's family was unquestionably her greatest joy, and she never missed an opportunity to show her pride as she selflessly supported her children and cheered on her grandchildren at every sporting event, concert, and performance.

When she wasn't busy helping others, Donna could often be found meticulously tending to her extensive garden or connecting with other green thumbs through the Bethlehem Garden Club. She was also a talented artist who made magic happen with a canvas and a brush. Donna was always ready for fun and up for an adventure - whether traveling to new places, camping, kayaking, (loudly) rooting for the Nittany Lions, enjoying Musikfest, or laughing on Zoom with her family book club.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Peggy Myers and husband Paul, and Mandy Mayer and husband Dave; son, Barry J. Schultz Jr. and wife Melissa; mother, Jeanne Huhn; sister, Susan Kolich (Fred); brother, Jay Huhn (Laurell) and grandchildren, Paul Myers Jr., David Myers, Andrea Carver (Tim), Makenzie Mayer, Anna Mayer, Brennan Schultz, and Danica Schultz.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 12 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. Burial will follow at The Union Cemetery of Hellertown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Bethlehem Garden Club, P.O. Box 1183 Bethlehem, PA 18016.
