Evelyn M. Grander

Evelyn M. Grander, of Bethlehem died on Saturday April 9, 2011. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late William and Martha Lula McLean. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, H. Russell Grander.

She was a devoted member of First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem where she served as teacher, elder, deacon, and spiritual director. She and Russell were avid travelers, covering most of the 50 states and 80 countries.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband; son David Grander and wife Vera; daughter Carol Woodley and husband Craig; brother Edward McLean; sister Edna Maia Harrison; grandchildren Farid Grander and wife Linda, Craig Woodley, Jr., Lauren Pepperney and husband Adam, and David Woodley; great grandson Mosea Grander and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, William and Robert, and sister, Elizabeth.

Viewing hours will be held in the funeral home on Friday, April 15th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. An 11 a.m. memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 16th at First Presbyterian Church, 2344 Center St. Bethlehem, PA 18017. Internment will be held privately.
