Kalman Talaber

February 29, 1920 — May 14, 2011

Kalman Talaber, 91, of Bethlehem passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Manor Care in Lansdale. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Frank and Theresa Mellin Talaber. His wife, Emma N. Talaber, died in 2009.

Mr. Talaber retired from the Fire Department of the Bethlehem Steel Co. in 1983 after 42 years of service. He had been a member of St. John's Windish Lutheran Church in Bethlehem.

He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Diane Loeffler and her husband Joseph of Colmar, PA and his son David J. Talaber and his wife Angela of Woodbridge, VA. He will also be missed by his grandchildren Christopher Seewagen , his wife Christine and their son Brandon, Lesley Seewagen, David Seewagen, Jaimie Loeffler, Adam Talaber and Kate Talaber. He was predeceased by sisters Theresa Richards, Christina Talaber and Sadie Gubish.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at 11:00AM at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem. Friends may call from 9:00AM to time of service.
