Loretta E. Medei

Loretta E. Kichline Medei, 64, of Bethlehem, died on Friday, November 16, 2007 at St. Lukes Hospital.

Born July 10, 1943 in Bethlehem, the daughter of the late Harleigh P. and Florence L. Sterner Kichline.

She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Gene Medei of Bethlehem.

Loretta worked for the Treasury Dept. of the Bethlehem Steel Co. from 1961-1968, prior to dedicating her life to her family.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Gene; sons, David Anthony Medei and his wife Mary-Kathryn of East Lansing, MI and Christopher Myles Medei and his wife Nichole of Lower Saucon; as well as her three grandchildren, Isabella, Anthony, and Christopher.

Loretta is also survived by her sister, Marilyn L. wife of Kenneth Bernhardt of Bethlehem Township and brothers, Ray H. Kichline and his wife Amanda of Palm Springs, CA; Dale A. Kichline and his wife Virginia of Hellertown; A. Richard Kichline and his wife Sue of Monarch Beach, CA; and Larry M. and JoAnne Kichline.

Loretta was a former Vice-President of the Saucon Valley School District PTA; she enjoyed participating as a Den Mother in the Boy Scouts and has contributed in several ways to the Freemansburg Bethlehem Township Athletic Association for over 30 years.

A Visitation will be held on Sunday November 18, 2007 from 6-8PM at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem.

Another visitation will be held on Monday November 19, 2007 from 8:30-9:30 AM at Connell Funeral Home, Inc.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday November 19, 2007 at 10AM at Our Lady of Pompeii and the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church 826 E. 4th St. Bethlehem PA 18015.

Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society 5100 W Tilghman St # 40 Allentown, PA 18104
