Mary E. Pihanick

Mary E. Pihanick, 75, of Bethlehem died Sunday October 8, 2006, at Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem. Born on February 8, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Urban and Martha Knowles Dougherty. She was the loving wife of the late Michael Pihanick.

Mary was a graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School, class of 1949. She worked as a receptionist for the late Dr. Francis Conahan for 10 years. After retiring she was a homemaker devoting her life to her children. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

She will be lovingly remembered by: daughters, Tanya Weaver and husband Michael, Katrinka Casamassa and husband Anthony, both of Bethlehem, Anne Czonstka, of Northampton, and Carol Steine of Lancaster; son, David Fosdick of Portland, Oregon; granddaughter, Brittany Weaver; sister, Martha Timony of South Carolina.

Arrangements are being handled by Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem where a visitation will be held on Tuesday October 10th from 6 to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial and Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
