Mary Smith

Mary Horvath Smith, 90, of Bethlehem,

died on Friday, January 19, 2007 at St.Lukes Hospital in Bethlehem.

Born June 5, 1916 she was the daughter of the late Steven and Mary Horvath.

She was married to the late George Smith for over 70 years.

Mary was a member of St. Joseph?s Catholic Church. She worked at the Muriel Dress Factory. She was a talented seamstress and a great cook.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Carolyn wife of Michael Bedics of Bethlehem; grandchildren Kathy, wife of Robert Colton of Alabama; MaryBeth Bedics of Bethlehem; Michael Bedics and wife Denise of Macungie; great-grandchildren, Trey, Meghan, and Drew. She will also be remembered by her brother, John Horvath of Allentown.

She was preceded in death by her three brothers, Steven, Louis, and Frank Horvath.

SERVICES

A funeral service will be held, Tuesday January 23, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad St. Bethlehem followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph?s Catholic Church 416 East Fifth St. Bethlehem. Visitation will be held Monday January 22, 2007, from 6-8 p.m. and January 23, 2007, from 8:30- 9:30 a.m. both in the funeral home.
