Patricia Marie DePaolo, 69, passed away August 15, 2023, while introducing her daughters to her sweet double wide in Nokomis, Florida before it blows away in the next storm. She was born December 28, 1953, in Bedford, Ohio to the late Peter and Patricia (Kilelee) Caragher.
Pattie worked as a teller for First Valley Bank (and each one it transitioned to) for a number of years before moving on to her wolf pack at Wolf Distributing where she further honed her customer service magic. She wrapped up her professional life as a bus monitor for BASD, a perfect fit having off for all holidays, bad weather and the entire summer. Pattie happily retired in September 2019.
Pattie was popular and made an impression on everyone that met her. Weather it was her quick wit and on point delivery of sarcasm or her bold accessories and consignment store statement pieces. People were hooked.
Pattie was a proud member of the Elks Lodge and attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bethlehem. She had a social calendar that rivaled any teenagers. From Broadway shows, to soccer tournaments, to doctor appointments for grandchildren. Even errands were a suitable activity for her to leave the house. Some of her most favorite adventures were in the form of vacation.
Left to try and live up to her legacy are her daughters Meghan Hogan and husband Craig; Maura Hoeft and husband Casey; son Graham DePaolo and wife Christy Guerro; sisters Colleen Hunsberger and husband Steve; Sheila Beahm and husband Charlie; Kerry Satterthwaite and husband Roy; brother Daniel Caragher and companion Laura; grandchildren Hazel, Oscar, Olive, Dexter and Oona.
In addition to her parents, Pattie was preceded in death by her husband Phillip DePaolo; sister Kathleen Cacciatore; and brothers Peter and Edward Caragher.
