Robert H. Diefenderfer

Robert H. Diefenderfer, 82, formerly of Bethlehem, went home to be with the Lord on March 13, 2017, after a lengthy illness. He was residing at Commonwealth Memory Care in Radford, VA. He was the husband of Dolores (Mulzet) Diefenderfer for 62 years, and was the son of the late Leia Caroline (Mildred) and Harvey Diefenderfer.

Bob was a graduate of Liberty High School, Bethlehem and was a member of the Naval Reserves. He was the proprietor of the Maples Restaurant and the Pelican Bar both in Bethlehem. He enjoyed golf with his buddies and traveling with his wife.

Left to cherish his memory is his son, Bob and wife, Lori of Virginia; grandchildren, Drew and Alyssa; and great-grandchildren, Chase, Katie and Rilyn. He was predeceased by his sister, Margaret Diefenderfer.

Sincere thanks to Good Samaritan Hospice in Radford, VA, and especially to their special angel, Colleen, who was Bobs favorite.

He is laid to rest at Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem, PA. Services were private. Arrangements were by Connell Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
