William T. Lynch

William (Bill) T. Lynch, 89 of Bethlehem and Venice, Florida died April 29, 2017 surrounded by his family at his home in Venice. Born in Bethlehem June 4, 1927, he was the husband of Dolores (Seaman) Lynch and they would have been married 27 years on May 11. He was pre-deceased by his first wife Josephine (Keretz) Lynch after 35 years of marriage.

He was a son of the late Bernard J. and Anna (Connell) Lynch. He was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran.

He worked in the Personnel Department of Western Electric for 36 years. Bill was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, RCC in Bethlehem where he lectored and called bingo for many years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a Life member of the Pioneers. In his retirement he loved searching for sharks teeth and shells on the beaches of Venice, bowling, shuffleboard, pinochle, hand and foot and created beautiful quill and scherenschnitte artwork. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and teaching his grandchildren to play cards.

He is survived by his wife Dolores, and daughters Susan (Lynch) Lawrence wife of Jack Lawrence, Diane (Lynch) Knox wife of John R. Knox and stepson Harry Ludwick husband of Charlene and stepdaughter Lisa Sampson all of Bethlehem; grandchildren Julia, Amy, Kevin, Elizabeth, Sarah, Katie, George, Jaclyn, Allison; great-grandchildren Jack, Charlotte, Madison, Jayden, Cooper, Rylee, Jackson, Oliver and Hailey. Predeceased by sister Tessie and brothers Bernie, Harry, George and Larry and stepson George Sampson.

Services: Mass of Christian Burial on Friday May 19, 2017 at 12:00 pm at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church 3219 Santee Road Bethlehem, PA 18020. Calling hours will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Friday May 19, 2017 at the church.
