A. Marcella Anderko

A. Marcella (Vockie) Anderko, 88, of Bethlehem; died on Saturday, June 7, 2014. Marcie was born October 30, 1925, 1 of 11 children. She was preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, Ernest J. Anderko as well as her first husband, the late Harris K. Bawden, D.O.

Marcie worked as a registered nurse for St. Lukes Hospital and Allentown State Hospital. She also shared her knowledge as a teacher of nursing classes.

Marcie will be dearly missed by her family; daughters, Susan M. Anderko of Bethlehem Twp.; Chryss Jane Buchman of Allentown; and Elaine D. Yocum, wife of John A. Yocum, Jr. of Easton; son, David B. Bawden of Connecticut and her six grandchildren.

Arrangements have been entrusted to The Connell Funeral Home, Bethlehem. Services will be private.
