Adam David Halteman, 36, of Bethlehem, died unexpectedly on July 7, 2021. He is a beloved son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and best friend.
Adam attended classes in his youth within the Nazareth Area School District. He graduated from Bethlehem Catholic High School in 2003. While attending High School he earned the Distinguished Eagle Scout award in 2001. Adam continued his education at Penn State University where he earned associates degrees in Electrical Engineering Technology, and Nanofabrication Manufacturing Technology in 2005 and Bachelor of Science degree in Information Sciences and Technology in 2008. Adam was a member of the Sigma Pi Fraternity, a brotherhood he shared with his father.
Adams most recent work was with FedEx in Northampton. He was previously employed with NanoHorizons in State College; E-Research Technology in Philadelphia; and Broadcom, Inc. and he performed an internship with Bosch Rexroth. Being a technical wizard, he designed and built computers from scratch. Earlier, Adam served as a ski instructor at Blue Mountain and worked at the Silver Creek Country Club Golf Course.
Adam will be remembered for his kind heart, gentle spirit, generosity and sense of adventure. He enjoyed baseball, swimming, and skiing. He found great joy in riding his go-karts and 4-wheelers. Adam had a special place in his heart for all animals; from snakes to Appaloosa Horses, but especially loved his Welsh Corgi, Prince. Adam was a talented musician; he played the piano and electric guitar. He even composed his own music. Adam was an avid fan of the band AFI. In his free time Adam liked to attend live concerts.
Adam will be dearly missed by his parents, David Samuel and Jane (Letowt) Halteman; his sister, Rebecca Halteman Hower and husband, Todd David Hower; his nephew, Blake Jensen Hower; and niece, Sadie Noelle Hower; as well as his aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive guests at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 3219 Santee Rd. Bethlehem PA 18020 on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 from 10-11 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in the church at 11 a.m. Interment will be private.
