Adele E. Breitenstein

Adele E. Breitenstein, 92, of Bethlehem died Sunday November 14, 2010 at Kirkland Village in Bethlehem. She was the daughter of the late Alfred J. and Sidonia LaMontaigane del' Etoile. She was the wife of the late John Stuart Breitenstein.

Adele was a member and former trustee of the First Presbyterian Church in Bethlehem. She was Head of the Presbyterian Women and served as board member, secretary and volunteer of the Bethlehem Council of Church's 1990-1996. She was past president of the Bethlehem Garden Club and the Westfield, N.J. Garden Club. She volunteered for the C.R.O.P. Walk in the 1980's and 1990's. She was an avid golfer and a member of Saucon Valley Country Club. She was a graduate of LaSalle Jr. College in Albandale, Mass. and also Simmons College in Boston, Mass.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son John R. Breitenstein and wife Anne of Beaumont, TX. and grandchildren Hannah Elizabeth Breitenstein and Robert John Breitenstein.

She was predeceased by brothers Richard and Lincoln.

A Memorial Service will be held 3PM on Wednesday November 17th, 2010 at the First Presbyterian Church Chapel. 2344 Center St. Bethlehem, Pa. 18017. Calling hours from 2-3PM at the church.
