Adele L. Karustis

Adele L. Yavorosky Karustis, 96, of Phoebe Terrace, Allentown, formerly of Bethlehem, died Thursday, March 13, 2008 at Phoebe Home Nursing & Rehab Center in Allentown, PA. She was born May 21, 1911 in Shenandoah, PA, the daughter of the late Anthony and Eva Kazakewicz Yavorosky. She was the loving wife of the late George Karustis who died in 1992.

Adele dedicated her life to her family.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, George A. Karustis & his wife Marlene of Westfield, NJ; daughter-Joan K., wife of L. Marshall Miller of North Wales, PA; brother, Edward Yavorosky of Enfield, CT; sister-Joan Sweisford of Norristown, PA; and three grandsons, Charles Karustis, Eric and Douglas Miller and five great-grandchildren.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held, Monday, March 17, 2008 at 10 a.m. at Our Lord's Ascension Polish National Church 2105 Jennings St .

Bethlehem. Visitation will be from 9-10 AM in the church. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the church.
