Adelino T. Sousa

Adelino T. Sousa, 83, of Bethlehem, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021 at home. He was the loving husband of Maria (Silva) Sousa with whom he shared 60 years of marriage. Born in Vale De Cambra, Portugal, he was a son of the late Manuel and Gloria Sousa. Adelino served in the Portuguese Army before working as a heavy equipment mechanic. Adelino then moved to the United States where he continued to work for Lisbon Contractors for 40 years before retiring. He was a member of the American/Portuguese Club in the community and a member of Holy Infancy Parish. Adelino loved to grow fruits and vegetables in his backyard garden and enjoyed seeing his grandchildren and great grandson. He will be dearly missed by his friends and family. In addition to his wife, Adelino is survived by his son: Antonio Sousa and his wife, Michelle of Whitehall; his daughter: Maria Helena Carvalho and her husband, Manuel of Bethlehem; grandchildren: Casey and Anthony Sousa; great grandchild: Nathan Lee Sousa; brothers: Jose and Vitor Sousa.
