Adriao Marmelo

Adriao Marmelo, 100, of Bethlehem died on Sunday, January 27, 2008 at Moravian Village, Bethlehem.

He was born August 5, 1917 in Portugal; the son of the late Jose and Rosa Saraiva Marmelo.

His wife, Amelia R. Sobal Marmelo died August 24, 2004.

He is survived by his daughter Salette M. Marmelo of Behlehem Twp; Sons, Rudy Marmelo, Sr. and his wife Anne of Bethelehem Twp. and Antonio "Tony" Marmelo and his wife Joyce of Williams Twp.; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; nieces, cousins, and extended family.

Adriao was predeceased by his brother Manuel Saraiva.

Adriao retired from the Bethlehem Steel Corp. Coke Works Division.

He was a member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church in Bethlehem and the Portuguese-American Club.

A visitation will be held at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem on Wednesday January 30, 2008 from 8:30-9:30AM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Wednesday January 30, 2008 at Holy Infancy Catholic Church 312 E, 4th St. Bethlehem PA 18015.
