Agnes A. Yokai

Agnes A. (Check) Yokai, 90, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 6, 2022, at home.

Born on January 5, 1932, in Fountain Hill, she was a daughter of the late George and Agnes (Bednarik) Check.

Agnes attended Bethlehem schools and was a graduate of the Class of 1950.

Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the loves of her life.

Aggie enjoyed Thursday night bingo at “The HOME,” as well as Sunday polka at Saengerbund.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Elmer, who died in 2000; her daughter, Barbara; son, Lawrence; one sister and two brothers.

She will be lovingly remembered by her sister, Ellie; son-in-law: Thomas Yeager, Jr.; two grandchildren: Jason and Justin Yeager; and two great-grandchildren: Ashton and Hannah Yeager.

Services will be private.

Interment will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Linden Street, Bethlehem.

Arrangements are under the care of the Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 East Broad Street, Bethlehem.
