Agnes B. Schaible

January 19, 1918 — January 13, 2011

Agnes B. Schaible, 92, of Bethlehem, died suddenly on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at LV Hospital-Muhlenberg.

She was born in Easton, PA; the daughter of the late Frank W. and Katherine Schroeder Pfeffer.

Agnes was preceded in death by her husband, Adam L. Schaible, Jr.

Agnes was valedictorian of the 1936 class of Phillipsburg Parochial High School.

She worked as a bookkeeper from 1936-1941 for Ingersoll-Rand prior to dedicating her life to her own and her extended family. More recently, she was the bookkeeper for her son's business, Kresge Foreign Cars, from its opening to present.

Agnes was a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Beata A. Schaible of Bethlehem and her son, Adam L. Schaible, III of Nazareth as well as her three grandchildren, Amanda M. Martin and her husband Charles, Adam L. Schaible, IV and Alexander M. Schaible and numerous nieces, nephews and brothers and sisters-in-law.

Agnes was predeceased by her sisters, Josephine and Catherine and her brother Frank.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at 10 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 3219 Santee Rd. Bethlehem, PA 18017. The family will receive friends prior to mass at the church from 9-10 AM.

The family will also receive friends on Monday, January 17, 2011 from 7-9 PM at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem PA 18018.

Interment will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
