Agnes H. Odenwelder

Agnes H. Odenwelder, 80, of Snydersville, PA formerly of Bethlehem, died Friday, November 17, 2006 at Pleasant Valley Manor in Stroudsburg. Born October 17, 1926 in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Benson B. Hartney, Sr. and Elizabeth A. Davis Hartney. She was the loving wife of William D. Odenwelder of Snydersville. They celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary this past June 14th. She was a receptionist for Dr. Harps in Snydersville before retiring. Agnes was a former Sunday School Teacher for United Church of Christ in Bethlehem. She was a member of Christ Hamilton United Lutheran Church of Sciota, PA.

She will be lovingly remembered by, her husband-William, sons, W. Daniel Odenwelder, Jr.& wife Maureen of Shillington, Pa.; Thomas L. Odenwelder of Snydersville, Pa; daughter-Mary A. Jones & husband Dennis of Apollo, Pa; brother-David C. Hartney of Pittsford, N.Y.; sister-Helen Dickenson of Ocean City, N.J. and four grandchildren, John and Heather Odenwelder, Geoffrey and Colin Jones. She was preceded in death by, a brother, Benson B. Hartney, Jr. Services: A Memorial Service will be held Monday, November 20. 2006 at 11 a.m. at Christ Hamilton United Lutheran Church in Scotia, PA.

Visitation will be 10-11a.m. in the church. Burial will be at Bethlehem Memorial Park, in Bethlehem. Memorial Contributions may be made to the church.
