Agnes M. Nickles

Agnes M. Nickles, 72, of Bethlehem quietly passed away on Friday, May 14, 2021 at Muhlenberg Hospital. Agnes was the daughter of the late Emma (Becks) and Joseph Wechsler. She was the wife of Joseph R. Nickles. They were married for 41 years.

Born in Coplay, PA, she went on to graduate from Whitehall High School and was employed at Burger King for over 40 years. Agnes was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, Bethlehem. Agnes was a loving and devoted wife and a caring, generous and happy person. She enjoyed reading novels, going to yard sales, playing bingo and lotteries and especially loved her dog and pet friend Emily.

She will be lovingly remembered and is survived by her loving husband, Joseph; brother Joseph A. Wechlser, Jr. of Albuquerque, NM, sister Judith Reckmack of Coplay and sister-in-law Cecilia Wechsler of Coplay, brother-in-law Ed Nickles and his wife, Mary Ann and sister-in-law Christina P. Griffis all of Bethlehem and many nieces, nephews and close friends. Agnes was preceded in death by her brother, Robert A. Wechsler and sister, Joan Dorner, brother-in-law Rudolph R and wife Ann Nickles and Frank J. and wife, Barbara Nickles.

A celebration of life will be held in the coming summer months.
