Agnes R. Holzer

Agnes R. Holzer, 87, of Bethlehem Twp., died on Wednesday, April 09, 2014 at her home. She was born May 7, 1926, one of 10 children to the late Julius and Victoria Verdensky. Agnes was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Stephen J. Holzer. Agnes retired from Forte Tie Co. where she worked as the office manager. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Stephanie V. Schmoyer; granddaughter, Victoria K. Schmoyer; caregivers, Joan Bright, Jeff and Tonya Mentzer and Linda Brinker; son-in-law, Richard Schmoyer and several nieces and nephews.

A prayer service will be held at 6 PM on Friday, April 11, 2014 with a visitation from 6:15-8 PM and again on Saturday from 9-10 AM with a service to follow all at The Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Lukes Hospice, c/o Development 801 Ostrum St., Bethlehem, PA 18015.
