Albert A. Sami

Albert A. Sami, 54, of Allentown, died on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at Liberty Nursing Home in Allentown. He was born August 19, 1956 in Equatorial Guinee, West Africa, the son of the late Alberto Sami-Sua and Doreas Anas-Bokara Sami.

He was the loving husband to Fenella N. Coker Coker-Sami. They celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary this past June 21st.

Albert worked as a security guard for Nextel Corporation in NJ. He was also a crossing guard in Allentown. Albert was a member of St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church in Allentown. He loved his garden in the summertime, swimming and dancing "even though he couldn't dance."

Albert will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Fenella; daughter, Alfena Coker-Sami, Son, Tijan Coker-Sami, brothers, Candido Sami, Francisco Sami, sisters, Oki Sami, Mao Sami, Isabel Sami and Caridad Sami and his aunt, Esperanza Nnawuehi. He was preceded in death by his sister, Esperanza Sami.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held, Friday, April 15, 2011 at 12 p.m. at Holy Family Manor Chapel, 1200 Spring St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. Visitation will be held from 11-12 p.m. at the chapel. Interment will follow at Nisky Hill Cemetery, in Bethlehem.
