Albert B. Cech, 89, of Bethlehem, died Monday, December 21, 2020 at St. Lukes Hospital, Anderson Campus. Born in Bethlehem he was the son of the late Matilda (Demjan) and Matthew Cech. He was married to Josephine (Dalint) Cech with whom he celebrated 64 years of marriage this past June 22nd.
Albert was a 1949 graduate of Bethlehem High School. He was drafted in the U.S. Army and proudly served his country during the Korean War, Albert was also in the U.S. Naval reserves. He later went on to work for U.S. Steel, Bethlehem Steel, and then ACME Markets retiring as an assistant manager in 1994. During retirement he worked as a part time salvage engineer for C.T.I., Inc.
Albert is survived by his wife, Josephine, sons, Albert Cech, Jr. of Ridgeland, S.C., David Cech of Moorestown, PA, and Michael Cech of Bethlehem, PA. He will also be remembered by his 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Albert was preceded in death by his brother, Matthew Cech.
A graveside service with full military honors will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem.
