Albert J. Aldinger

July 28, 1924 — April 26, 2010

Albert "Pete" Aldinger, 85, a lifelong resident of Bethlehem, passed away Monday April 26, 2010 at the St. Lukes Hospice.

He was born in 1924, the son of the late Albert and Kathryn Trimble Aldinger.

Pete was graduate of Bethlehem High School and proudly served his country in the Army during WWII. He was employed at the Bethlehem Steel, but spent most of his working years at The Bethlehem Area School District. He particularly enjoyed working for the Athletic Department.

He was a man of great faith and a longtime member of Sacred Heart Church of Miller Heights.

He was predeceased by his wife, Marian Polak Aldinger, in 1983.

He is survived by two sisters, Kathryn Kelleher of Bethlehem; and Helen Ambrose wife of Michael Ambrose also of Bethlehem; and two nephews Kevin and wife Bonnie of Bethlehem; and Jack and wife Sue Kelleher of Hellertown. Pete is also survived by his grand nieces and nephews; Patrick, Kathleen, Megan and Morgan Kelleher.

A viewing will be held at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem PA 18018 on Friday, April 30, 2010 from 7:30-9:30 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church First St. Bethlehem, PA 18020 at 10 AM.

Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
