Alberta Csala

Alberta Csala, 90, of Bethlehem Twp., died on Thursday, April 14, 2016. She was born in Bethlehem, the daughter of the late Joaquim and Conceicao (Nugiyta) Augusto. She was the devoted wife of Geza J. Csala. They observed their 50th wedding anniversary before his death in 1996.

Alberta worked as a sewing machine operator for 40 years at the former Lehigh Muriel Dress Co. and the Jody Lynn Blouse Factory. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bethlehem Twp.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son-in-law, Wilbur von Steuben, Jr. of Wind Gap; and her grandson, Wilbur “Chip” von Steuben, III and fiance, Fay Rauch. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda von Steuben, sisters, Mary Achando, Rose Augusta, Helen Gonzales, Alice Santos and brothers, Aurelio and Anthony Augusto.

Services: A viewing will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, Pa 18018 from 8:30-9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1817 1st Bethlehem, PA 18020 at 10 a.m.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
