Albina DaSilva

Albina DaSilva, 87, of Bethlehem Township, passed away on Thursday, August 29th, 2024 at home with her family by her side. Born on January 8, 1937 in Long Island, NY she was the daughter of the late Jose and Mary (Holokrys) Esteves. She was the loving wife of the late Jose DaSilva.

Albina was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. She worked for 33 years as a crossing guard in Bethlehem Township. Albina was proud of her home and always kept it spotless. Her family came first, and she never missed one of her grandchildren's sporting events, music performances or special events. She enjoyed baking bread and sharing it with her family and friends, and her many trips with Sacred Heart Church Prime Time Club to dinner shows.

She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Theresa Reichard; and her three grandchildren, Autumn, Noah, and Vincent. Albina is preceded in death by her sister, Irene Mattos.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 from 6-8 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018. A viewing will also be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 3219 Santee Rd., Bethlehem, PA 18020. Interment will conclude services at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
