Alexandria "Alex" Jones

Alexandria deLeon Jones, 70, of Bethlehem died on Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at Holy Family Manor in Bethlehem. Alexandria was born in Hellertown and was the daughter of the late Lucian deLeon and Rita Andreoli. She was the widow of Jay Lawrence Jones who died in 1969.

Alex was a sales representative for Dun & Bradstreet, retiring in 2006. She was a member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church and a member of the "Off the Couch Gang". Alex was a jazz singer.

Alex will be lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Lisa and Stephanie, two brothers, Lucian of Bethlehem and Leon of Steel City and two sisters, Genevieve of Northampton and Adele of Bethlehem. There are five grandchildren.

The family is grateful for many people, but particularly Catalina Hovind, Kim Destremps, Priscilla deLeon, Donna Keim, Franci Smith, Lisa Gardner and Sharon Woolf.

Friends may call on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at Holy Infancy Catholic Church, 312 E Fourth St., Bethlehem, PA 18015 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am.

Burial following Mass will be at Belvidere Cemetery, Belvidere, NJ.
