Alfred E. Antoccia,76, of Bethlehem passed on December 20, 2024. He was born on February 11, 1948, in Fountain Hill, the son of the late Edward and Antoinette (Tarola) Antoccia. Al was a graduate of Liberty High School and served in the US Army. He was a dedicated professional who served as a Receiving Supervisor for Bosch Rexroth, a role in which he took great pride.
Al was a talented drummer and loved to play heavy metal music. In the late 60's and '70s he performed in the band Rasputin and had the opportunity to be with Ozzy Osbourne. He continued with his rock star attitude throughout his life and was easily recognizable by his long hair and beard. Al also was an avid bicyclist. Every year he would ride his bike from Bethlehem to Wildwood, New Jersey where he found great peace at the beach.
Al will be dearly missed by his sister, Janice Carden and husband, Paul, brother, Dennis Antoccia and wife, Jan, friend and caregiver, Detra Rotundo, nieces, and nephews, as well as his furry friend, Karma.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Connell Funeral Home and will be private. In this time of grief, the family appreciates your thoughts and prayers as they navigate this profound loss. Al will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know him.
