Alice M. Santos

Alice M. Santos, 83, of Bethlehem, died on Thursday, November 28, 2013. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Joaquim and Conceicao (Naquevia) Augusta. She was the wife of the late Antonio R. Santos, Sr. who died in 1985.

Alice worked in the local garment factories for 37 years; she was a member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Antonio R. Santos, Jr. and wife, Christine (Sopko) of Bethlehem Twp.; daughters, Rose Marie Lichtenwalner and husband, Thomas of Lower Nazareth, and Pauline Martin and husband, John of Bethlehem; grandchildren, Lisa, Tina, John Jr., Michael and Lora; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers, Aurelio and Anthony Augusta; and sisters, Helen Gonzales and Alberta Csala. She was predeceased by her sisters, Rose Augusta and Mary Achando.

Viewing hours will be held in the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, on Sunday Dec. 1 from 6 to 8 p.m. and again on Monday from 9 to 10 a.m. A 10 a.m. funeral service will follow in the funeral home. Burial will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
