Alicia Milan-Vazquez, 83, of El Paso, Texas and formerly of Bethlehem died Thursday November 16, 2006 at Del Sol Medical Center in El Paso. Born February 20, 1923 in Ponce, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Carlos Milan and Maria Font.
She worked as a sewing machine operator throughout New York for 20 years. She enjoyed traveling to New York City and sharing time with her family. She was a former member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church of Bethlehem.
She is survived by: sons, Carlos Lopez of Allentown; and Hector Gordils of El Paso, Texas; five grandchildren, Carlos G., Carla and Carolyn Lopez, Hector Gordils, Jr. and Melody Gordils, and seven great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held, Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at 9:30 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad St. Bethlehem, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Holy Infancy Catholic Church 312 E. Fourth St. Bethlehem. Visitation will be Monday, from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday, from 8:30-9:30 a.m. both in the funeral home. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
