Aline P. Moconyi

Aline P. Moconyi, 83, of Bethlehem, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022, at St. Lukes HospitalFountain Hill, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on October 25, 1939, in Phillipsburg, New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Pearl (Musselman) Haas.

A graduate of Phillipsburg High School, she went on to attend the former Penn Hall College in Chambersburg, PA, as well as Arizona State University.

Aline took great joy in raising her children full-time. In her spare time, though, she enjoyed traveling around the world with her husband Andrew, Penn State Football, and antiques. Later in her life she loved attending various sporting activities in support of her six grandchildren. She became an authority on basketball, baseball, tennis, and volleyball.

She was a long-time member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Allentown and a member of the Altar Guild.

Aline will be lovingly remembered by her husband: Andrew Moconyi, to whom she wed on January 25, 1961; one son: Michael Moconyi and his wife Diane; two daughters: Holly Ann Jones, Kristine Hudak and her husband Edward III; six grandchildren: Alexander and Matthew Moconyi, Zachary Jones, Edward IV, Andrew, and Megan Hudak; and two great-grandchildren: Bradley and Calihan Jones.

A visitation will be held at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 1900 Pennsylvania Avenue, Allentown, PA 18109, on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, from 10:00am until the time of the memorial mass, in church, at 11:00am.

Interment will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Linden Street, Bethlehem.

Arrangements are under the care of the Connell Funeral Home, Inc., Bethlehem.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Northampton County SPCA at 1165 Island Park Road #9558, Williams Township, PA 18042.
