Allan W. Baenziger

Allan W. Baenziger, 75, of Bethlehem Township passed away in his home surrounded by his loving family on May 13, 2022. He was born in Newark, NJ the son of the late Irma (Brough) and Eugene Baenziger. He was the loving husband of Sharyn (Bussemer) Baenziger.

Allan was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Bethlehem Township. He was a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus and past Grand Knight of Council 15682. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy. Allan was a true handyman and enjoyed helping family, friends and neighbors with any projects he could help with. He enjoyed golfing, reading science fiction books, traveling and especially spending time with his grandchildren.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 50 years, Sharyn Baenziger; daughter, Kimberly Harper and her husband, Thomas; son, Craig Baenziger and his wife, Missy Buck; brother, Kenneth Baenziger and his wife, Sue; sister, Joan Bouton and her husband, Bob and grandchildren, Katie Harper, Allie Harper, Emma Buck and EJ Baenziger.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 from 6-8 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A calling hour will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 9-9:45 a.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 1817 First St. Bethlehem, PA 18020. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
