Allison Nicole Perno

Allison Nicole Perno, 12, of Bethlehem Twp., received her angel wings on June 10, 2012.

She was born on October 7, 1999 in Staten Island, NY; the daughter, angel, princess and best friend of her loving parents, Joseph T. and Catherine (Doria) Perno.

Allison was a recent graduate of 6th grade at East Hills Middle School where she played clarinet in the Marching band and was an Honor Student. She enjoyed karate, bowling, swimming, playing basketball and soccer. Allison achieved the level of grand champion in karate at the Bethlehem Twp. Community Center. Allison will be remembered for the care she showed for her dog, cats, bird and fish as well as the enjoyment that she received by being outdoors, spending time with her friends and listening to Selena Gomez. Allison was her daddy's little girl and her mother's buddy. She loved spending time with her family; especially going out to breakfast and watching movies with chips and dip.

She will be dearly missed by her parents, Joseph and Catherine; her brothers, Joseph and Anthony Perno both at home; her maternal grandmother, Josephine Doria; paternal grandfather, Joseph Perno as well as her aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Giacinto Doria and paternal grandmother, Anna Perno.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 12, 2012 from 6-9 PM; Wednesday from 1-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. all at the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. School counselors will be at the funeral home during the visitation and service on Thursday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. on Thursday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 3219 Santee Rd., Bethlehem, PA 18020.

Interment will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery following the Mass of Christian Burial.
