Althea Ann Livirrie

Althea Ann Livirrie of Bethlehem, PA passed away Monday, November 1, 2010. Born in Bethlehem she was the daughter of the late Rose Politi and Joseph Livirrrie.

Althea graduated from Liberty High School, St. Luke's School of Nursing and Cedar Crest College with a degree in Cooperative Nursing. She entered the U.S. Navy Nurse Corps during the Korean War and retired after 20 years of service with the rank of Commander U.S. Navy.

Althea is survived by her sister, Erma Reed and brother, David and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters Elda Livirrie and Mae Pozzi.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 5, 2010 at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 450 Washington Ave. Bethlehem, PA 18017 at 11 AM. Burial will be private. Arrangements under the care of Connell Funeral Home, Inc.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Althea's name to St. Anne's Catholic Church Education Fund or the Rose and Joseph Livirrie Endowment Fund, Salesian Center.
