Amalia Silvestre-Amaral

Amalia Silvestre-Amaral, 92, of Hellertown, PA passed away on Friday March 19, 2021 at the Old Orchard Health Center in Easton, PA. She was born in Arcozelo da Serra, Portugal, the daughter of the late Jose Augusto dos Santos and Rosalina Silvestre. She was the wife of the late David Amaral. Amalia worked as a seamstress in the Bethlehem area for many years. She was a member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Antonio Amaral and wife Rosa, and Jack Amaral, daughter, Maria Gaspar and husband Alvaro, 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by 2 brothers, and 7 sisters.

A viewing will be held from 9:30-10:30am on Wednesday March 24, 2021 at Holy Infancy Catholic Church 312 E. 4th St. Bethlehem, PA 18015 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10:30am at the church. Burial will be held in Arcozelo da Serra, Portugal.
