Amelia Duran Nuno

Amelia Nuno, 74, of Bethlehem, died on Monday, August 3, 2009 at her residence.

She was born December 19, 1935; the daughter of the late Maria Perfecta Macias and Ricardo P. Duran.

Amelia was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Felipe Nuno.

She worked for several years as a beautician before dedicating her life to her family.

Amelia was a member of Ss Simon and Jude Catholic Church Bethlehem, where she was a member of the 55 Plus Friends Club.

She will be lovingly remembered by her sons Philip Nuno and his wife Sheila Crawford of Cape Coral, FL; Ricardo Nuno and his wife Regina Rotondo of Bethlehem; daughter Elsa Luther of Bethlehem; one sister, Maria Ruiz of Bethlehem and three sisters in Mexico as well as 12 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 7, 2009 from 8:30-9:30 am at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday August 7, 2009 at 10 am at Ss. Simon and Jude Catholic Church.

Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
