Amelia V. Miller, 80, of Center Valley, died on Wednesday, February 14, 2018. She was born February 23, 1937 in Brownsville, PA; daughter of the late George Hopson and Mary (Warren) Schneider. Amelia was reunited with her husband of 51 years on Valentines Day, the late David O. Miller.



Amelia graduated from Edgewood High School, academically at the top of her class as well as being voted “Most Athletic”. She earned her Bachelors Degree from Penn State University. Amelia and her husband were the proud owners and operators of Lehigh Valley Turfgrass. She enjoyed reading, music, singing, traveling and discussing politics. Amelia was a devoted Nittany Lion and Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Amelias life was devoted to her family and especially her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her son, Mark Miller (Anne); daughters, Lynn Kovecses; and Martha Miller (Fred Reynolds). She is survived by her sisters, Patricia Bailey; Mary Renner (Hans); and Catherine “Kitty” Boehs; as well as six grandchildren, Catriona, Justin, Andrew, Timothy, Zane and Teak; and her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, George Hopson.

Guests are invited to Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 on Monday, February 19, 2018 from 10-11 a.m. with a service to celebrate Amelias life to immediately follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be held at Nisky Hill Cemetery.
