Amy Jo Forouraghi

Amy Jo Forouraghi of Hanover Twp., died peacefully on Wednesday, January 4, 2017. She was born in Oelwein, Iowa; daughter of the late Sidney and Katherine (Cunningham) Whitlock. She was the devoted wife of 32 years to Kaveh Forouraghi.

Amy worked as a caregiver for both a nursing facility and her own grandmother prior to dedicating her life to her family. She enjoyed nature and was an avid birdwatcher. Amy had an artistic eye and many talents. She was an outstanding baker and cook, an amazing landscaper, and her vocabulary and mastery of the English language was superb. Amy also enjoyed crocheting, and crossword puzzles. But above all, she loved spending time with her family.

Amy will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Kaveh; children, Shawn, Nicholas and Lailei Forouraghi all of Bethlehem; her brother-in-law, Babak Forouraghi ; and siblings, Sidney Whitlock, Jr.,(Karen) Lorilei Smith(Nate), Marilyn Whitlock, Kathy Mangrich (Lyn), Lynne Nesbitt (Jim), Paula Whitlock ODonnell, Gene Whitlock and Joseph Whitlock and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. The Connell Funeral Home is honored to assist in the arrangements.
