Andrew Bresnak

Andrew Bresnak, 85 of Bethlehem died Friday June 6th at Manor Care Bethlehem, Pa.

He is the husband of the late Edith Trapp Bresank who died in 1995.

Born in Pen Argyl, Pa. he is the son of the late Andrew and Bertha Bresnak.

Andrew proudly served his country as a member of the U. S. Navy for 22 years retiring from the Navy in 1964. His career in the Navy began in 1942 serving in the European Theater and the Pacific Theater during WW II. Serving in many capacities; Coxswain, Fire Controlman Third Class, FC 2, Electrical Repairman, FT1 and FTG1.

Serving on many of the U.S. Navy Ships, his last duty was on the USS Pampanito.

After retiring from the U.S. Navy, Andrew worked for the Bethlehem Steel Company for 20 years retiring as a Roller Line Operator.

Surviving: Son Andrew J of Bethlehem, Daughters; Denise wife of David Quillen of Colorado Springs, CO, Karen wife of Edward Fischer of Alice Springs, Australia, MaryAnn wife of Kenneth Humphrey of Canton Center, Conn. and Shelly wife of Glen Edwards of Nazareth, Pa. In addition he has 10 grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be private.
