Andrew “Dick” Sikora, 92, of Bethlehem, died on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Pickering Manor Nursing Home in Newtown, PA. He was born in
Bethlehem, the son of the late Andrew and Anna (Bachochin) Sikora.
He was the loving husband to Anna Bernice (Marcincin) Sikora. They celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary this past year.
Dick was employed by the U.S. Postal Service. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army as a sergeant in World War II. He was a parishioner of Incarnation of Our Lord Parish in Bethlehem.
Dick will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Anna, of Bethlehem;
his two sons, Tom Sikora and his wife, Lorraine, of Newtown; and
Richard “Dick” Sikora and his wife, Sandra, of Pittsburgh; his three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in
death by his sisters, Mary Mihalik and Anna Minarovic; and his brother, John "Sikes" Sikora.
Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 24, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Incarnation of Our Lord Parish, 617 Pierce St., Bethlehem, PA 18015. Visitation will be from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, in Bethlehem.
Memorials may be made to the church.
