Andrew J. Hutchinson, Jr.

Andrew J. Hutchinson, Jr., 84, of Emmaus, died on Sunday, January 10, 2010 at Lehigh Valley Hospice in Allentown. He was born in Bethlehem, the son of the late Andrew J., Sr. and Anna Shuster Hutchinson. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, GeorgeAnna Hutchinson. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Isabel Taylor Hutchinson.

Andrew received his Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University. He was employed by Bethlehem Steel for 37 years and retired as the Sales Manager of Forging and Castings. He started his own business, Martec, where he was the owner for eight years. He served his country during WWII in the U.S. Army Air Force. He was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Allentown.

Andrew will be lovingly remembered by his wife, GeorgeAnna, his son, Dr. Thomas A. Hutchinson and his wife, Chris, his daughter, Mary Jane Bowen and her husband, John, brother, James Hutchinson, seven step-children, five grandchildren, Andrew, Sean, Allyson, Meredith and Meghan.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held, Friday, January 15, 2010 at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 1040 Flexer Ave. Allentown.

Visitation will be on Thursday, January 14, 2010 from 3-5 p.m. and again from 7-9 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad St. Bethlehem.

Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, in Bethlehem.
