Andrew James Stellatos, Jr.

June 20, 1962 — November 16, 2008

Andrew James "AJ" Stellatos, Jr. 46 of Allentown, PA, formerly of Hillsdale, NJ, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2008 after a brief battle with cancer. Born in New York City, Andrew grew up in Englewood then Hillsdale, NJ before moving to Allentown in 1999. He was a graduate of Pascack Valley Regional High School in Hillsdale, NJ. Upon his graduation, he received a certificate in radio announcing and production and programming from Announcer Training Studios in NYC and worked as a radio disc jockey for 17 years specializing in oldies, in radio stations throughout New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania; among them, WGHT in N.J. and Rock 107 in Scranton, PA. Andrew was employed by ABEC in Bethlehem as a contract administrator and completed an Associates Degree in Business Administration from Lehigh Carbon Community College.

An avid fan of games and trivia, he was employed part-time as a black jack dealer/croupier for Jack Pot Casinos of Fleetwood, PA. Andrew appeared on the TV game show, "Press Your Luck" and as part of the Lehigh Valley Trivia Group, competed nationwide in trivia tournaments, winning several awards and being a contributing editor to 15, 000 Answers- The Ultimate Trivia Encyclopedia 2nd Edition, Stanley Newman & Hal Fittipaldi.

AJ was a volunteer for his neighborhood watch group in Allentown and also a volunteer for the Miller-Keystone Blood Center.

He is survived by his parents, Andrew J. Stellatos, Sr. and Sophia Stellatos of Little Egg Harbor/Tuckerton, NJ, brothers, Michael Stellatos of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, and Anthony Stellatos of Emerson, NJ., sister, Liza Stellatos-Murphy of Emerson, NJ. He is also survived by six nieces and nephews.

Services: A viewing will be held on Saturday November 22, 2008 at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 1-3 PM with a Service at

2 PM. Committal services will be announced at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made in Andrew's name to the American Cancer Society, 3893 Adler Place, Bethlehem, PA 18017 or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
