Andrew Oravec

Andrew Oravec, of Bethlehem, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at the St. Luke's VNA Hospice House, Lower Saucon Township. He was born in Bethlehem on January 2, 1914; son of the late Steven and Johanna Cech Oravec. He was the husband of the late Helen Zurick Oravec who passed away on March 23, 2005. He was employed by the Bethlehem Steel for 42 years, working in the Fabricating Division. He was a member of SS Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

He will be lovingly remembered by his: daughter, Ginny Guman and her husband Joe of Bethlehem; grandson, Gregory Guman and his wife Paula; great-granddaughters, Caroline and Ashley Guman, all of Raleigh, NC; brothers, John and his wife Anna, Joseph and his wife Betty, both of Bethlehem and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his: brothers, Stephen, Charles and George Oravec; sister, Mary Laubach.
