Andrew Torkos

Andrew Torkos, 92, of Bethlehem, died on Friday, April 20, 2012. He was born in Williams Township, son of the late Joseph and Theresa (Pej) Torkos. He was the devoted husband of the late Lillian (Morris) Torkos who died in 2001. They were married for 31 years.

He was employed by the Bethlehem Steel where he worked as a crane operator for many years. He was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

He is survived by his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, John, Joseph, Frank, James and Michael; and sisters, Theresa Olah, Anna, Helen and Margaret Torkos, and Rose Brown.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, where an Office of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 1st. Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday from 9 to 10 a.m. Interment will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ss. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, 1140 Johnston Dr. Bethlehem, PA 18017.
