Angel Antonio Gonzalez

Angel Antonio Gonzalez 77, of Bethlehem passed away on Thursday, March 21,2024 at his residence. He was the husband of Magdalena Rodrigues Pacheco. Angel was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico on June 26,1946 to the late Romualdo and Juana (Gonzalez) Gonzalez. He worked as a Machining Operator for Stanley Power Equipment in New Britain, CT for many years until retiring.

Angel had the most beautiful and infectious smile. He had the ability to make you feel like everything was going to be okay, even if it wasn’t. He was a jokester, extremely outgoing, and could make friends anywhere. He was especially adored by his grandchildren, who will miss him dearly. Angel will be remembered for his big heart, welcoming personality, and kindness.

Survivors: In addition to his loving wife; children: Mayra (Calvin) Rodriguez of Fort Wainwright, AK, Angel (Rosie) Gonzalez, Jr. of Lancaster, Julio (Lucy Nieves) Gonzalez of New Port Richey, FL; siblings: Elba Gonzalez, Helen Gonzalez, Hector Gonzalez, Norma Gonzalez, Ramon Gonzalez; grandchildren: Jessie Torres, Chantel Galvez, Andre Alexander, Julius Gonzalez, Elijah Alexander, Jaiden Gonzalez; great granddaughter: Victoria Roberts. Predeceased by brother, Luis Gonzalez.

Service: Family and friends are invited to his viewing from 12-1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at the Connell Funeral Home, 245 East Broad Street, Bethlehem followed by a service at 1:00 p.m. The services will conclude at the Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
