Angela A. Kercsmar

February 28, 1914 — December 16, 2007

Angela A. Kercsmar, 93, of Bethlehem was called to eternal rest on Sunday, December 16, 2007 in St. Luke?s Hospital. She was the wife of the late Stephen Kercsmar, who died in 1987. Angela lived at 2161 West Blvd for more than 60 years before moving to Alexandria Manor in Bath several years ago.

Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Stephen A. and Theresa V. Rajnor Strauss.

Angela had been employed as a sealex operator at the former Western Electric Company for 5 years and for many years as a sewing machine operator and samples model at the Laros Co. She retired in 1965.

She was a long time member of Our Lady of Pompeii of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Bethlehem. As a member of the First Windish Beneficial Society she performed and sang with the Theater Group at the Windish Hall, was a member of the Bethlehem Senior Citizen?s Center and had volunteered for more than 13 years for Meals On Wheels.

The most important thing in Angela?s life was her family, she loved her daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren with every ounce of her being.

Surviving are two daughters, Sandra G. Fontecchia of Bethlehem and Paula J.Titus, wife of Donald W. Titus of Glenmoore, PA, four grandchildren, Shelley, wife of Kenneth Mondzak of Phillipsburg, NJ, Mandy , wife of Richard Rutman of Coplay, Robert Scott Perry and his wife Inge of Saylorsburg and Abby, wife of Blake Hartman of Warminster, PA. She is also survived by five great grandchildren, Hannah Rutman, Megan & Justin Mondzak, Brandon Joseph Perry and Hailey Grace Hartman.

She was predeceased by a sister Frieda Brink

All services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burial at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
