Angeline Rose Schultz

Angeline Rose (Delluva) Schultz, 98, of Bethlehem passed away on December 26th with her loving family by her side. Born August 14, 1922 in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of Michael and Assunta Delluva. She was the devoted wife of the late Joseph Schultz, Sr. High school sweethearts and gifted dance partners, she and Joe married when he returned home from WWII and shared 60 beautiful years together in marriage prior to his passing in 2005. They were blessed with three sons- Joe, Rich and Robbie- whom Angie dedicated herself to as a doting homemaker. She also worked at Liberty High School in the cafeteria.

Angie showed her love in many ways, including through food. She was an amazing cook and could often be found in the kitchen happily preparing a meal for her beloved family. She had an infectious laugh and the ability to make everyone around her feel loved and happy. Angie graduated from Liberty High School in 1940 and was a devout Catholic and longtime member of Our Lady of Pompeii church, where she was a member of the sodality.

Angie is survived by her sons Richard and his wife Janice (Benway), and Robert and his wife Judith (Nichols); her grandchildren Graig (Adrienne), Jennifer Cooper (Scott), Aaron (Karissa), William Carmody (Melissa), and Christina McShane; her nine great-grandchildren; and sisters, Eleanor Ostroski and Vince Ann Watson. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, as well as brothers, Ralph and Edward; and her son, Joseph Jr.

A visitation will be held on January 4, 2021 from 10:00-11:15 a.m. at St. Annes Catholic Church, 450 E. Washington Ave. Bethlehem, PA 18017 with Mass of Christian Burial to immediately follow. Masks and social distancing will be required upon entry. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions in her memory be made to Holy Family Manor, where she resided with great care and happiness the past 7 years.
