Angelo A. Sennico , 87, of Bethlehem, died Tuesday, June 20, 2006 at Blough Health Care Center in Bethlehem. Born February 27, 1919 in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Orazio and Philemina Morano Senneca. He was the loving husband of the late Rose Marie Miller Sennico who died in 1993. Angelo worked for Bethlehem Steel in the Ingot Mold Foundry for 35 years. He retired in 1981. Angelo served in the U.S. Army in the 21st Infantry stationed in the Scofield Barracks in Oahu, Hawaii. He received an honorable discharge and re-enlisted in the U.S. Navy stationed at Fleet Training Center, Hawaii. He proudly served his country during WWII in the Pacific Theatre and Guadalcanal, on the USS American Legion as a First Class Boatswain?s Mate who guided the Pilot Marine Landing Crafts.
He was a member of The Hellertown American Legion and Our Lady of Pompeii of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Bethlehem.
He will be lovingly remembered by, daughter, Gloria Fox and husband Craig of Easton, son, Vincent Sennico of Bethlehem; sister, Frances Senneca of Bethlehem, granddaughters, Kelly Weber and Rachel Burson, grandson, Stephen Fox and great-grandchildren, Naomi, Noah & Ella. He was preceded in death by, brothers, Michael, Vincent, Joseph and John Senneca and a sister Camella Senneca.
Services: A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, June 24, 2006 at 11 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad St. Bethlehem, visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m.
in the funeral home. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, in Bethlehem.
