Ann E. Novak

Ann E. Novak, 87, of Bethlehem, died on Thursday, June 18, 2015. She was born in Bethlehem, the daughter of the late Emery and Anna Hock. She was the devoted wife of John Novak. They were married for 43 years before his death in 1993.

Ann dedicated her life to her family. She was a founding and active member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Ann enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casino.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Deb Birkas and husband, Bob of Bethlehem Twp.; brother, Jimmy Hock; and grandchildren, Katie Lynch and partner Matt Feige and Shawn Lynch and his fianc, Laura Muzerall. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Beil; and brother, Frank “Muzz” Hock.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 22, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 3219 Santee Rd. Bethlehem, PA 18020. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. in the church. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the church or Arts Academy Charter Middle School, 1610 E. Emmaus Ave., Allentown, PA 18103.
