Ann G. Burns

Ann G. Burns, of Bethlehem, died peacefully Thursday July 25th, 2018 surrounded by loved ones. Born July 26th, 1927, Ann completed 90 whole years in this world before returning to her eternal home with the father. She was the daughter of Adam & Marie (Leber) Green. Her husband, William M. Burns, died in 2002. Ann was a parishioner of Holy Ghost Church and former member of the Seniors Association. She loved reading, knitting, being outdoors and most of all, spending time with her family. Ann retired from Durkees in 1992 and Miller Keystone Blood Center in 2004. She was the pillar of her family and the warmth of her heart and selflessness touched so many.

She is survived by her brother, Francis Green, sons, William Mark Jr. & Kevin J. and wife, Christy; grandchildren, William Mark III and wife, Katie, Holly Deifer and husband, Ryan; Anam Cara & Cassidy Saoirse and great-grandchildren, Charlotte Anne, Aubree & Rose Margaret. Ann was predeceased by her husband, brothers, Jacob & Joseph Green & her sister, Margaret Becker.

A visitation will be held on Monday, July 30, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. All other services will be private.
